Ashely Title – Oliver’s Adventure I’ve been a JSI since Spring of 10’ The theme of our story was world culture. What I’ve learned about this topic is that different cultures celebrate holidays in their own unique way. My favorite JSIP moment was when we went to the Staten Island children’s museum.

What I have learned was ways that other people from all around celebrate their culture and the importance in embracing a person’s culture. My favorite JSIP moment was when we started making the characters for our book because we had cooperation and team work from each of the people in my team. |

Kindra Title – No! Bath No! I’ve been a JSI since Fall of 08’ The theme of our story was healthy lifestyles, specifically hygiene. What I’ve learned most about this topic is how health plays a major part in children’s lives and how to teach them in a fun way. My favorite moment was when we met the SICM kids and when we went to their museum. It was my first time on the Staten Island Ferry and I had fun. |

Phoebe Title - El Museo del Barrio I’ve been a JSI since Fall of 09’ My favorite JSIP moment was when when we all sat around and shared hot chocolate and talked about our season in the Fall.

I’ve learned that there are a number of different topics that reflects early childhood. My favorite JSIP moments were when we went to the Bloomingdale Family Program to read to the children. |

What I’ve learned most about this topic was that many countries and cultures celebrate similar holidays as we do. My favorite JSIP moment were teaching, making friends with the new JSI, and when we went on trips around New York. |
